Anna Schnaitter is a designer living in New York City and the creative force behind Anna Roween original designs. She absolutely loves color, pattern, rainbows and beads.

Anna discovered the joy of beading at three or four years old and was instantly obsessed. With decades of experience and completely self taught, she created her own original techniques for intricate beadwork.

Specializing in elemental, nature inspired mosaics, each piece is one of a kind, wearable art celebrating the innately perfect patterns of our universe.

California raised, Anna draws inspiration from everything in nature: the gradation of color in the sky, the changing leaves, the motion of waves, the diverse textures of animal skin, vines, petals, butterflies, beetles…

Nature, as well as her fascination with sacred geometry, combines with spontaneity, diverse color palettes and intuitive textile arranging, to create a meditation imbued with healing energy. These unique pieces are aimed to both balance and please the senses while invigorating the viewer’s own personal creativity.

Parallel to her maker life, Anna is a professional performer. Until recently she was a company member of the immersive cult hit Sleep No More in New York City. While previously in the Broadway National Touring Co. of Pippin, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, 30 Rock, Smash and Law & Order, to name a few, she continuously built her jewelry collection. Always creating and connecting imagination to the physical world…remaining playful and frivolous while elegant.
